O Almighty and eternal God, look down upon the heart of Thy most beloved Son and upon the praises and satisfactions which He offers to Thee in the place of all sinners, and do Thou, appeased by these appeals to Thy mercy, grant us pardon, in the name of the same Jesus Christ Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God for ever and ever.
